Physical Therapy Department
WCH�s newly constructed Physical Therapy Department opened in downtown Neodesha in February, 2000. Two registered physical therapists and two Certified Physical Therapy Assistants (CPTA) provide inpatient, outpatient and home health services for Neodesha and surrounding areas. An important part of their practice is getting patients with a wide variety of problems back to work as quickly as possible. With outpatient physical therapy located adjacent to Get Fit!, patients with disabilities often choose to continue their exercise program after their course of treatment is completed in the safe environment provided by a medical-based wellness center.
Sharing their knowledge with the community is one of their department�s strengths. The therapists provide programs for seniors including fall prevention classes, back safety programs for industrial health groups, and ideas for reducing injury for office workers who spend many hours a day in front of their computers.
