Flu Vaccine--
�In response to the concerns of the flu vaccine, Wilson County Hospital was fortunate to have ordered vaccine in January and received it in August,� stated Wilson County Hospital pharmacist, Karla Kneebone.
As part of our Outreach Program, we have provided flu shots to nine industries and USD 461 for several years. With the crisis this year, Julie Nichol, Outreach Coordinator, recently contacted each of those entities to inform them that we would not be able to provide the flu shots this year. Deanna Pittman, Administrator, said, �I was extremely pleased with the response and understanding from the industries and school system.�
WCH employees have received their flu shots as hospital employees are considered an �at risk� group. The remainder of the vaccine was distributed to the offices of Dr. Moorhead,
Dr. Chronister and Dr. Barrett and all has been given to their �at risk� patients.
