Area residents will have a chance to have lunch out and have some of their questions answered by Dr. Jeffrey Hogge, podiatrist, during "Dine with the Docs" on Monday, July 15. "Oh, My Aching Feet!" is sponsored by The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in Neodesha and will address common foot problems�and solutions. Dr. Hogge�s interests and expertise includes diabetic foot problems and hyperbaric medicine. The doors will open at 11:30 am with the luncheon and program being held from noon-1pm. The event will be held at the Neodesha Civic Center, 1407 North 8th. Cost of the luncheon is $5 and participants are encouraged to make reservations by calling 325-2300 or toll free 1-888-603-1333 and pay at the door. Dr. Hogge received his BS from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1992 with a major in zoology and a minor in chemistry. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1996 after graduating from the California College of Podiatric medicine in San Francisco, California. He completed both his Rotating Podiatric Residency and his Podiatric Surgical Residence at The Carney Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1998 and 1999 he served as an instructor in the Department of Orthopedics/ Podiatry section of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed an intensive 7-day, 60 hour course Hyperbaric Medicine Team Training course in San Antonio, approved by the U.H. M. S. (Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society) and the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. Dr. Hogge is part of a Group Practice, Family Podiatry, in Independence and holds clinics in Neodesha, Fredonia, and Parsons. Dr. Hogge is an Eagle Scout. His honors include the national Dean�s Honors List from 1992-1996 and being selected as a member of the Pi Delta The community educational event is held each summer to celebrate the anniversary of the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine which is a part of Wilson County Hospital. This is the Center�s third anniversary and provides services to SE Kansas and NE Oklahoma. It is one of four Wound Care Centers in Kansas with a Hyperbaric Chamber.
